are **Women Making Waves – Mar 9-11th** for the conference in Halifax, NS.
Although I can't attend this time around, here is a piece, entitled 'Home' I did for the event:

¡Ay Chihuahua!

This weekend, we have an art party coming up where SassyTuna has been requested to make some chihuahua projects that we (a group of 14 or so girls) will make step by step...I made one this morning, to test the pom pom sizes out. Hopefully the girls will allow me to post their finished puppies, too!

The 'Storm' we were supposed to have on Saturday never really turned into much, but it was a perfect 'pie' day. This recipe was made from allrecipes.com, and after trying 3 different varieties of ingredients, this website seemed to have the best mix. . .

Happy New Year! Here are some photos taken last night, after I had a few minutes in the studio to tidy up. (Totally not perfect yet!)

Here is the front, when you come in for a party or art lesson. The mailbox (in white on the red table) is sitting waiting to be painted. I don't think it's a good idea to put it up yet, with all the slush and ick this time of year)
